MDTS was started in 1999 by Deborah Evans (or “Miss Debs” as she is affectionately known), and has grown to become one of the most highly regarded rural performing arts schools, boasting members of the Royal Ballet, a string of dance companies, and stars of screen and stage among it’s alumni.

Many students go on to full time training in the Arts, and some students have even gained scholarships to prestigious colleges.

Based in Minety, Wiltshire, MDTS certainly proves that if it’s excellence you are after you don’t have to go to London to find it.

We provide a high standard of training, with classes  in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, breakdance, drama and singing. Dance is taught with a sense of both fun and enjoyment, and every pupil is encouraged to realise their full potential. We are the only school in Wiltshire to provide training in breakdance with fully qualified teachers.

We also stock all uniform requirements in our shop as well as a wide range of non-uniform dancewear and equipment.

“MDTS teaches dancing to a high standard in a fun, caring and enjoyable environment. Miss Debs is an excellent, caring and dedicated teacher and I would have no hesitation in recommending MDTS to anyone whether they wish to dance to a high standard, improve their fitness or just for fun.”
